Sec. 16-19ee. Reports from electric distribution companies concerning electrical outages from power surges.

Each electric distribution company shall, in its periodic report to the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, concerning electrical outages, indicate which outages resulted from a power surge.

History: P.A. 98-28 added electric distribution companies and made a technical change, effective July 1, 1998; pursuant to P.A. 11-80, “Department of Public Utility Control” was changed editorially by the Revisors to “Public Utilities Regulatory Authority”, effective July 1, 2011; P.A. 14-134 deleted reference to electric company and deleted “with more than seventy-five thousand customers”, effective June 6, 2014.
