Sec. 19a-87f. Youth camp, child care center, group child care home or family child care home: Physical examination or health status certification.

On and after July 1, 2014, any (1) youth camp, licensed in accordance with section 19a-422, (2) child care center or group child care home, licensed in accordance with section 19a-80, or (3) family child care home, licensed in accordance with section 19a-87b, may permit a child's physical examination that is required for school purposes, and the child's health assessment form described in section 10-206 or the state Department of Education's early childhood health assessment record form, to be used to satisfy any physical examination or health status certification required by such youth camp, child care center, group child care home or family child care home, provided any requirement established by the Commissioner of Early Childhood concerning the time for completion of such physical examination is satisfied.
